My name is Kashanae Simpson and I participated in the LawLinks summer program as a high school junior in 2016. The biggest impact participating in this program has made on my life is my ever-growing professional network! The same skills and professional connections I made over the summer translated to a paid position on a mayoral campaign (2020) and continues to sustain my current work at the Abell Foundation. This life-changing opportunity continuously grows my network and I thoroughly enjoy advocating its impact! From the professional attire that I continue to wear to my amazing LawLinks supervisor who continues to cheer me on, I know that I view my future in Baltimore completely different thanks to what this program exposed me to.
